What we are building
Dipp AI Technologies is on a mission to close the gap between AI’s advanced reasoning capabilities and an enterprise’s ability to trust it with real work: verifiable, cost-disciplined, and in control of its own data.
We build Orcher, the agentic control plane that enforces Human-in-the-Role across seven components, and Dipp Intelligence, our Enterprise Superintelligence solution that compounds on verified execution.
Work directly with the founding team, building for customers from startups to Fortune 100 companies across industries. Help enterprises adopt frontier models, open weights and new compute providers without surrendering authority, economics or data control.
About the role
Dipp AI publishes. Our industry report and research series are how the market learns what governed autonomy actually costs and what it prevents. You will lead that programme and make sure the claims in it are defensible.
The work is applied: routing analysis across model classes, governance economics, failure taxonomies drawn from real deployments, and evaluation methodology that stands up when a reader tries to reproduce it. Findings feed directly into product decisions.
You will also be the person who says a number is not ready to publish.
What you will do
- Set and run the research agenda across routing, evaluation, and governance economics.
- Design methodology and evaluation harnesses whose results others can reproduce.
- Author research volumes, technical notes, and figures for an executive and technical readership.
- Turn field data from design partners into generalisable findings, with consent and anonymisation.
- Review external claims and benchmarks and publish honest correctives where warranted.
- Partner with engineering so research findings change the product, not just the website.
What we look for
- Track record of published applied research or rigorous internal research that changed decisions.
- Strong quantitative methods: experimental design, statistics, and uncertainty communication.
- Ability to write for executives and technologists in the same document without diluting either.
- Hands-on with LLM evaluation and its failure modes.
- Intellectual honesty stronger than the pull of a good headline number.
- Comfort presenting findings to enterprise leadership and to sceptical practitioners.
Experience
- 8+ years in applied research, data science, or research engineering, including work published or presented externally.
- Has led a research agenda or a small research team.
- Experience in regulated or high-consequence domains is a strong plus.
Education
- PhD or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Exceptional applied experience without a graduate degree is welcome.
